Will be trying that out today hopefully! I am very thankful for the new bridge and for the hard work of everyone that worked on the project.
Wasn't there. Hopefully any official there said they were embarrassed by how long this took and Ed Ford said "yes I make dumb ass comments and shouldn't be re-elected". Doubt it though.
Since I am retired, I have the privilege of watching the noon news. Mayor Boss was interviewed Friday. His comment was that he can get to the Community Center faster. Are you kidding me? Being mayor is not about an individual. It is about the good of the whole. Why didn't he mention our ambulance time will decrease? Our fire protection will be incredibly faster! Why not mention the miles, time, and gas residents have wasted for over 2 years? Typical CEO mentality - me, me, me.
And he's devious in the back room while looking like ole gramps that doesn't quite qet it in public.
It's official! Westside is inconvenienced yet again. Barry Road closed at Westside/Barry going west. Haven't seen any detour signs either. I counted 5 cards turning around in utter confusion.
