The Official Unofficial Minutes of the WL BOA
Nov 6th
A resolution offered by the Mayor and passed by the BOA officially makes November 13 Joe Ennett Day in the City of Weatherby Lake. The Mayor in his comments mentioned Joe's service to the community noting the 13th would be Joe's last official day as President of the WLIC. Joe reflected on his 7 and a half years of service and the cooperation between the City and WLIC.
No keys to the City, but Joe did get a paper resolution suitable for framing.

Frankly, I'm glad to see Ennett gone. I feel he has turned back the clock of the WLIC. The WLIC is now a toothless tiger. Makes me wonder if he is not on the payroll of KCMO. Many KCMO sewer spills, and Ennett did nothing. But he gives a member the okay to clear an area, then turns around and sues him. Where is the rest of the Board members? And the worst of it, the WLIC will probably stay on the same course after Ennett. We need another Neighbors for Change group!
Joe
Thanks for your service
No one could ever please the cast of uniformed but opinionated village idiots that our volunteers have to put up with.
Agree 9:15
Now we have signs announcing Joe Ennett Day. I wonder who bought these, probably the City Water Department. The reason for the 40% increase in rates.
I hope you're running for the board so you can enjoy these kind of comments on your volunteer service.

Proof the village idiots are here
Just like Zebra mussels ,they usually dont go away
We did run off the biggest one however maybe its because he just could never clam up
Just because someone volunteers, doesn't mean you give that person a pass and let them do whatever they want. If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.
There are both good and bad volunteers. Bad ones shouldnt get a pass. Lets hope you're a good one that enjoys the heat - oh yeah, no one would disagree with you.

Did you serve ? Run?

3:33: Being a volunteer isn't automatic sainthood.
With your line of reasoning, if one doesn't like or criticize the President, or Governor, or local state representative, or a volunteer guess one should run for their offices.
"Being a volunteer isn't automatic sainthood"
Brillant observation
Try it
Even though it wont get you in to heaven
