Word is that the initial change to Rules & Regs regarding Zebra Mussels et al received over 50 nays. Presumably WLIC is coming up with revisions in the light of objections. Board need to approve and resubmit to members with another 21 day waiting period.
The WLIC mandatory training and testing to live at Weatherby Lake rule?
Did that pass?
Nothing passed. Original proposal was withdrawn and special meeting came up with revised proposals. By all accounts, the meeting was a fiasco of petty nit picking and arbitrary dates plucked out of the air. Apparently went on for 5 1/2 hours!!!
What were the proposal? We will have to wait and see.
Nit picking? Or careful consideration to avoid nit picking later. 5 1/2 hours for a work session could be defined as due diligence.
7:42 - Obviously you were not there. It was a complete cluster. Members in the peanut gallery were forbidden to question the process (apart from Joe Ennett) - eventually allowed to have 3 minutes per member to speak. Board just did not listen to their members. As stated before - a fiasco!!
