11:22, using the labeL "York haters" is a little over the top. Just because a person thinks Botbyl would be a better, more competent Mayor for our City than York does not make them a "York hater". Let's not be so harsh.
There is nothing at all wrong with Alan York funding his own campaign. It is a little surprising he does not have more support from those who think he is the better candidate, that is all.
I agree with 1122. York Hater is correct. It has nothing to do with who would be a better Mayor, it has to do with all of the lies these people circulate.
As far as how he funds his campaign, you are also jumping to the same conclusions as the haters. You are busy second guessing when it really is none of your business what he does. Your post was over the top harsh! I believe this blog mentioned only 2 contributors to Botbyl's campaign before the latest reporting cycle - Jerry for $500 and himself. I guess you would conclude he has contributing supporters galore.
