Mayor Botbyl in his first official Comments of his administration set his agenda for the coming months:
- Evaluation of Roads-There are 12 streets that are initial targets following and evaluation made by George and Steve Clark. Mill, Patch and Sealing Cracks are all in the mix as well as a contract for Asphalt (awarded later in the meeting).
- Continuing Sewer Inspections & Inserts
- Infrastructure in general a key focus of the City
- "Re-energize" the EAG (Entrance Advisory Committee). Botbyl would like to "bring some direction" to the EAG.
- Website update-explore the possibilities of sending/getting information from citizens, including the possibilities of social media.
- Property Maintenance-"some properties need work".
- Continue to follow Bos focus on paying down long term debt.
- Continue to work closely with City Treasurer Ennett.
- Develop a 6 year capital plan to include purchases of vehicles such as police, public works.
- Obtain water and sewer recommendations-"a little more formal plan" look for better alternatives".

Let's see . . .
Put time and effort into entrance signs because they are so crucial to our community . . . scores of Weatherby Lakers have been pounding down the doors of city hall demanding the revitalization of entrance signs.
Google Fiber not mentioned or a consideration as there is absolutely no expressed interest, desire, remote use or need.
Mmm . . . looks like the desires of the community have been accurately identified.
It appears Botbyl read York's flyers to see what was important. Is this town ever in trouble......time to move, but where?
