The next BOA meeting will have the same cast of characters as WL voters returned all the incumbents to the Board and Mayor positions. Unofficial results from the Board of Elections:
Botbyl - 339
York - 263
Finn - 162
Surma - 137
Clark - 168
McLaughlin - 130
The minority of registered WL voters ruled the day, with 41% of the eligible 1,466 voters going to the polls. The winners, like Botbyl, effectively had around 23% of the voters...same held true for the aldermen races. It was a bruising campaign towards the end for all the candidates, it will be interesting to see how it plays out in the coming months.

I am surprised Surma got as many votes as she did, her postcard may have been the last straw, it was for me. Note to potential candidates, have an agenda that moves the city forward.
When is York ever going to get the message, we don't want him. He is a loser. How do you get someone like him to leave town?
7:14 The ugliness continues. We need to be civilized and respectful to anyone who has the courage to put their name in the hat. I would never run for public office because of losers like 7:14 AM.
7:14: 45% of the voters wanted York which means 45% of the voters didn't want Botbyl. With almost half the voters voting for York, that doesn't make anyone a loser.
What was on the Surma postcard?
