Every Resident on this lake should attend this meeting. Everyone needs to see how this board and mayor are spending OUR tax dollars.
If you don't attend, you have no right to complain.
I agree...but I would like to point out the time 5PM is not very working resident freindly...something this board and mayor seem not to consider. The meeting was posted on Oct 29th, not much in advance of the meeting, again, although this mayor and board vowed to commuicate with the community, for the most part, it hasn't happened.
It would appear, the board does not represent our working community. They fail to understand this is a working community not a retirement community. Board members who no longer have full time working jobs, who may sleep late or stay up late , take leisurely lunches, or have time for little community projects do not get it that not everyone is in that position.
You seem to forget that our previous mayor regularly scheduled meetings at 3pm on days that he knew certain aldermen weren't available.. would that have been planned so that those aldermen could not oppose his action??????makes a person wonder......talk about having their own agenda.
Yep, Mr. York also held meetings during the day all of the time. It happened many times.
Why is it that only complainers seem to post? When York was Mayor all you read was negative remarks very similar to the ones being thrown at Bos. I wonder how many of those complaining actually go to the BOA meetings and hear first hand what takes place or voice their concern. Why do we have so many residents sitting at home complaining all the time. It's pretty sad.
I fully agree with previous annon. Shame on you Mike for being so critical of current BOA and Mayor while you were so supportive of previous Mayor who did similar things and worse. What a shame that all you can do is incite negativity, Mike. I'm dissappointed in you.
