I think it is a good idea, in line with all the other thrifty decisions by the mayor. And of course if Parkville does it we just have to follow their lead.
Mike, I'm not sure this is a good idea. Given the hefty size of our police force, I would be concerned we would need to inflate the tires on this golf cart destroyer many times a day.
Am I the only one that thinks our police force needs to meet a minimum standard of fitness tests before they can patrol our fine streets?
Would anyone take a policeman seriously if he was chasing a speeder down with a golf cart?
Let's put them on bicycles. Maybe a half dozen trips bicycling around the lake per day would work off some of those donuts!
One thing that is really good about Weatherby is our Peace Officers. They have been there more than once when I had someone sick in my family or other problems going on. They have always been gracious and kind.
. I really wish they wouldn't spend money on stuff like this but I don't think there is anything wrong with them having the nice patrol vehicles. They have to spend a lot of time in their cars.
for a couple of the posts..Someday if you really need their help then while they are helping you, maybe you will stop and think about what you said here.
