Vote Once, Twice

You might want to vote twice this next Tuesday...but no I'm not talking about that. After the November 4th election, there is another important vote opportunity at the WLIC Annual Meeting on November 11th at the Airport Hilton. You should have received your packet by now. Read it carefully. If you cannot attend the meeting, sign over your proxy to another member. Speaking of proxy (I would hope this would be common sense) give your proxy to someone who represents your point of view. I understand there are a few individuals who are actively seeking proxies. No problem with that, but you give them absolute control on all issues that come before the membership that night. The Directors elected the 11th will be making decisions that affect the Lake for years to come.

Most importantly, if you can, attend the meeting. Based on comments in the blog, many don't understand how WLIC operates and worse yet, confuse it with City government. The meeting provides the opportunity to interact with the Directors and hear the latest at WLIC.
