I'm baaaack!
After all the travails of traveling and computer problems, I am back with lots of catching up to do. Your help and insights would be helpful...did you attend the WLIC Annual meeting? Would love to see your perspectives. Please post under this title. Did you attend the BOA meeting on the 10th were they discussed the City Website? Post your comments on the previous posting. Thanks.

I just need to know. Who is the manager of the Community Center? Shawna or her mother? Shawana does a terrific job, but too many times I have to go thru her mother. Just want to clarify.
I personally think it's a Power Trip thing between the two of them!! Like telling everyone they can not pick up a key until 9am the day of the event and calling people at the Community Center before events are over to come pick up keys. It was never run that way prior to the two of them having this control. You could pick up your key the day before and return it the day after. There were 5 keys with remotes. This also made it easier on the renter. Not having to go out of their way to get a key that morning so when they are ready they can go straight to the community center.
The WLIC meeting was a great forum for our community activists.
Too bad everyone those who votes by proxy was not there to see it
