The Mayor and all four aldermen will be running unopposed in the April election in Parkville. A trend, incumbents just like WL, in for another term. The printing and sign companies will not see an upturn this time around.

Postscript / correction: The Luminary was wrong. On the last day of filing and after we had verified the ballot former Aldermen Brian Atkinson filed to run against Jeff Bay in the city's third ward -- the ward that represents the National adjacent to Weatherby Lake. A little heads up from the candidate would have been nice, but it's not like Mr. Atkinson hired a political consulting firm. We reported on this on our website and twitter, ParkvilleLuminary.com, as soon as we could.
