Dumpster Diving

Hopefully you have noticed the 2nd recycling dumpster that arrived @ the CC and City Hall this week. Thanks to a very persistent Alderman Tanya Finn in getting them, there is a high demand and low supply in the metro. This might lessen my dumpster diving activities. Again last week when I went to make a deposit the bin at the CC was brimming. I was prepared, had brought my step ladder along. Up and in I went, my petite frame (not really) mashing trash as I jumped up and down. Compacted the stuff by 50%. So, if you could, crush your recyclables, it will make more room for everybody...plus save the City (read you and me) some money. We pay $25 every time the company comes out to empty the bins.
