I see where a few communities in the metro have cancelled 4th fireworks due to financial problems (Lenexa & Shawnee) No such problem here, our Fireworks Fund, 100% funded by private donations keeps perking along...as a matter of fact our display will be upgraded this year to include synchronized music. By most accounts last year's display was one of the best ever. Alderman Finn is the chief fund raiser, your donations can be made/sent to City Hall.
If the outdoor temp gets much hotter the fireworks will light themselves...right?
