You might have received the
Robo call last evening around 9PM regarding a "small spill" occurring at
Westside and Barry...not sure what that is all about. Earlier in the evening I heard an alarm echoing down the lake that sounded suspiciously like a pump station alarm. Hmm. In any event, don't go swimming in
O Cove this weekend (no problem for me) and limit the #of lunkers you fry up from the Cove unless you have a recipe that masks the distinct flavor of, well, you know.
Speaking of bad taste, have you noticed the barge for the dredge operation has been very quiet this week. Turns out the sludge pond below the dam is full and/or needs work, so no dredge for now. Brief update posted on the
WLIC web site (do you mute the site when you go there too? The music is a bit much)
