Almost forgot...small matter of the lake being closed...culprit this time was West side lift station in O cove. How many hours/gallons of poo went into the lake?

We have a big time problem! Do you think KCPL & KCMO care?
Instead of spending money removing some of the sewage in trucks during power outages why dont we have a back up generator?
Seems to me that would be less costly in the long run and we would not have sewage going in the lake.
Learned something from this last storm: Keep calling KCP&L until you get your power outage reported.
We should ALL call the KCMO City Manager, Troy Schulte & let him know our thoughts, about the pump stations & poo in the lake - 816-513-1408. Dont think that someone else will take care of it for us. You sure would think there would be a backup generator????
