Upon further review...
The case of the Maligned Trespasser continues, not in Platte County court but back in WL court. Ms Jennifer Payne's request was for a new judge, not venue, so she and/or her attorney will make their plea in WL Municipal Court this coming month. I guess the "hanging judge", the honorable Bev Roper. posed too much of a specter to the meek Ms Payne thus the request for a different judge. Good move? Legal scholars are split. The City is taking wagers with all proceeds going to the Fireworks Fund, which is tax deductible.
