(From LA Times)
While the global warming, global cooling, climate change continues to buzz, don't know if you saw the article entitled "Cause of extinction certified". Fabulous news bit, making it official the cause of the extinction of dinosaurs and many other species 65.5 million years ago. An asteroid 7.5 miles wide struck the earth in an area in Mexico called Chicxulub. The result of the impact was energy released more than a billion times more powerful than Hiroshima...massive earthquakes, wildfires, rock and dirt in the atmosphere. Aftereffects shrouded the planet causing global winter. Only species that could adapt survived...burrrr! My advice? Drive that SUV proudly...take advantage of the 70% off winter clothes @ Dillards (really, you need to check it out)...and wait.
