March 10th

Forgot to post on March 10th the fact that it was the 2nd anniversary of this blog. Two years, 608 posts and around 36,500 hits later, I'm still blogging although lately my business travel schedule has been cramping my style.

The lack of any City contested races this time around gives a little less fodder than two years ago, but there is still plenty of stuff going on in and around WL.

You may have caught the article in the Star earlier this week about road construction @ Barry Road, just east of I-29. Going to kick off late spring early summer. Lucky we have the "back way" down Amity and Tiffany Springs, right? Hmmm, don't get too comfortable, Amity is on the board to be widened as well...not sure when that is scheduled. You can see some of the utility prep work going on right now. And of course there is the county piece of Barry Road from Potomac west...westsiders just can't catch a break. This too shall pass...years from now.
