As if long suffering WestSiders haven't had enough aggravation with the "Bridge", the second shoe is about to drop. See yesterday's post. Our friends from Platte County are moving forward with the construction on Barry Road west of Potomac, possibly this summer. Besides more frustration and work arounds, the potential insult to the water shed via runoff is huge. Will Platte County play nice? We shall see.

7:37 Too harsh of a statement for me. It's so easy to blame small gvmt. Do you b*tch as hard at your big legislators? Agree the w-side is in for a rough patch. Any productive ideas?
The West Side has been in a rough patch for 18 months, I can't think of one thing small govt has done to make it better.
Wonder if this hurt the commuity center at it;s new rate of rental?
