Day trip to
Jeff City yesterday for a meeting...uneventful drive...traffic fairly light, road conditions very good. Might MO over the banks near
Boonville. The most excitement happened minutes from home as I returned...on
Barry Road, just before the "merge" going west on Barry after the Park Hill District Offices. Two SUVs in front of me, neither willing to allow the other room...thought I was watching a Nascar race. They actually "kissed" before the car in front sped up, while the driver was chatting on a cell phone. I was prepared to witness a road rage encounter, but nope the lead vehicle turned on to
Mace and the goofball in front turned right on to
Amity. Better be on your toes until you get to four lanes.
Speaking of toes, Weatherby's finest continues to run traffic surveillance on
Hillside...numerous times this week. I observed one car pulled over at the bottom of the hill on Hillside earlier in the week. Wish we had the same presence when our notorious neighbor makes his run down
Potomac. Almost always a cell phone in hand and at speeds this past week of, my guess, 40+ mph. If you walk or ride bike or push a stroller on Potomac...beware, it is at your own risk.

I saw the jerkoff barely make the turn at Wayland, somebody is going to die, just not him.
Talking on cellphones while driving should be made illegal. Tired of people talking and driving with absolutely no clue they are driving like idiots. Today came up behind someone stopped at a green light. Pulled around only to see this woman on her cellphone.
Key word. 'Woman'
And yes, Verlin is going to kill someone.
You would not believe what he does on Westside and across the dam.
The speed limit doesn't apply to him.
I understand he has been cited and was indignant along with his counsel Perry Mason Jr
He claimed to have made a $50 campaign contribution to every candidate for mayor as a contingency to cover his habit of driving like a jerk
