"Officials in Kansas and Missouri are stepping up their patrol efforts this holiday weekend at popular boating spots such as Weatherby Lake in Parkville. Among other tips, they recommend that people designate sober skippers to stay safe on the crowded waterways."
Might be popular...but it is private...and certainly not in Parkville! Fact check?

Thank God for the WLIC Board installing the cables across the boat ramps. It will stop the boats from getting on the lake. I sure hope waterpatrol is out on the lake and at swim beach today and tomorrow. The pic in the paper is going to bring people here to swim or try to go boating.
