Fireworks On The Fifth

Not likely, the weather report (can you trust it?) looks good for the 4th and the annual WL Fireworks Display.  There is the possibility of rockets red glare though on the 5th at City Hall.  Mary in her pre-meeting BOA agenda email mentions a couple of interesting items.

"Discussion about possibility of putting a stop sign at the south end of Eastside Drive"
What the heck is  that all about?  She doesn't mention the instigator of the idea...I personally think it is a terrific idea, our Eastside brethren need a taste of inconvenience.


"Discussion about applying for Tree City USA."
While it seems like a nice idea...there are some strings attached...see link.  Do we need this?

I have a better idea...a toll @ Eastside and City Hall. Would discourage casual travelers, create jobs, add revenue...city stickers could act as Fast Pass. Cmon man.
