The Official Unofficial Minutes of the WL BOA
July 6th
Three months ago the BOA passed a resolution asking the Planning Commission to review the City Code in regards to the "15,000 sq ft rule". There is some sentiment (as previously noted) on the Board to grandfather or make exceptions for some homes on the Lake. Jerry, in his review of various Committee reports, noted the Planning Commission had not yet set a date to consider the resolution. Might be because the Planning Commission has never been officially notified of the resolution. According to Mark Horstman, President of the Planning Commission, he has never received any communication from City Hall with a request for a meeting (I spoke with him on July 4th). All the better, my guess is the Planning Commission is not in the mood to fiddle with 15,000 sq ft.

Compromise 15,000sq ft and we are just another cracker box community, what a joke. Let all the cry babies go elsewhere, Northtowne is waiting for you.
