Last Flight Out

Sitting in 3D on the window, in BWI, waiting for our flight to ATL to proceed. I glanced out the and looked down to see the Delta crew loading a long box on to the baggage conveyer. As the box moved up into the baggage/cargo hold I got a better look, the name Robert Glendon Luke written on the cardboard with a Sharpie as well as the name of the receiving funeral director in Sanborn, Florida. I am changing planes in ATL, I assume Mr Luke as well. It may be his last flight, I'm hoping I have a few more in my itineray.

For flights originating in Atlanta, this is an all too often sight... Let us give a moment of thanks to the brave women and men who defend our country.
