From the minutes of the WLIC February Board meeting, page 4:
"Further discussion was had concerning the contract price, and the benefits of discharging on the Amity-Barry property including the ease of permitting and the savings of approximately $7.00 a yard (approximately $280,000 gross savings). ( I added the Red)
That is a chunk of change to take in the shorts, which apparently Dredge America did. Ouch.

I find it hard to believe Dredge America will suck it up, members hide your wallets.
I'm surprised with all the problems with Kansas City over the years WLIC wouldn't anticipate the worst from them.
Hard to believe. Yes. True? Also true. Where is WLIC? seems like doing some pretty savvy negotiations to me.
Remember, $280,000 is their retail price. Not Dredge America's cost. Still a chunk, but maybe not as high as you think.
Tried to get info on the dredge on the WLIC web site, what a joke. The music is obnoxious and there is nothing about the dredge.
