Not so Strange Bedfellows

Received a postcard from Mike Henderson (former WL Mayor) yesterday, "Dear Mike, Please join me in supporting my friend Kathy Dusenbery". A Republican guy touting a Republican gal...right? Yes, and then some.

Who was the ringleader for the Ambulance District? Dusenbery.
Who committed and supported Weatherby Lake to join the District? Henderson.
Result: The initiative was overwhelmingly defeated at WL (passed in the other areas) and Henderson was soundly defeated in his re-election bid.

Who consorted with Mr Owens in his initial attempt to develop the property adjacent to Eastside Drive? Henderson.
Who was noticeably absent in the last round of sparring to fight the rezoning of the Owens property? Dusenberry.
Result: Rezoning failed.

Dusenberry campaign Treasurer? Alderman Mary Hoy.

Looks like they are going for the trifecta, "making our county an even better place to live".
Bedfellows? Yes. Strange? Not so much.

Mike you are overlooking the local ringleader on the ambulance debacle.
Isnt one of his bedfellows the other candidate?

Our own Robert Kardashian .Bob helped OJ Simpson get a not guilty that was turned in to a claim of "innocence"

He later regreted it

6 degrees of separation? Almost always true...I didn't drop down to the next tier...there were a few WLakeans active in gaining signatures for the District petitions, one who was/is linked to WLIC mischief who in turn is/was linked to the other candidate for County Commissioner. Based on my belief who will be best for the County as well as have a vested interest in the WL community today, I'm going with Mr. Quitmeier. He was quite active in opposing the Owens plans for redevelopment.

If you could only peel back the covers you might find there is more than just 6 degrees of separation.

All the bedfellows working against our interests are /were sleeping in Parkville.

The "mischief" here at the lake cost us much more than the ambulance debacle ever will.

But lets not worry about the continuation of our true best interests being undermined from within.

Where do the candidates stand on important issues like our increasing water bills?

Hip Hip Hooray

We have a winning streak going .

The two candidates in this election who worked against the lake .. lost

That makes three in a row

And as a bonus I got to vote for Lisa Pope again!

Sorry I feel Pope hasn't helped us. Maybe I am wrong, but shouldn't our taxes be more realistic.

I see

Taxes should never go up we should continue to get more and spend more and pay less for it

Isnt that how we got in to this mess?

PS

Lisa Pope does not have a special place in my heart because she cut taxes.
