Turn Back the Clock

Nice, huh, having that extra hour? My internal clock will have none of it, thus I awoke at my usual appointed time.
Historic week/month ahead of us for local and national decisions. As much as we might yearn for the good old days, as both McCain and Obama predict, change is coming.

Couple of questions from blog viewers this past week. Can I see who posts when they use Anonymous? Answer, No.

Have I ever deleted a Comment? Answer, No, not yet. Could I? yes. If someone used vulgar language (use your imagination) or made an over the top personal attack I would consider deleting the comment. I haven't added up the comments versus hits, but, as you know, most folks do not comment, just click in, click out.

Mike

I appreciate all your service to Weatherby Lake.

Thank you for providing this forum to keep us well informed and for allowing uncensored free expression.

We agree on many things and we dont agree on others but we are still neighbors.

Well done my friend

I know some of our city council members read this blog. I am asking for Nov 5th and for all meetings they take into account the hard working community we have, listen to your community as you had campaigned, agree to community participation and set aside any private motives or affiliations. At the very least, build up a trust so we can be proud of our city.

I've never seen anyone from the city council post a blog here except for Pat White. So if you're reading this Pat White:

Why do you think there is an element of distrust as implied in the previous email?

Why was a nuisance meeting conducted when most community members could not attend?

Do you think there are council personal agendas?

Do we truly need new entrance signs?

What do you think of Sonoma Ridge multi-family units?

Why was our community center upgraded without an initial voted in budget?

Do you think there is a "coalition" on city council as previously stated in another blog?

What do you think of the troop funds delivery by WL police vehicle?

Why aren't you or Tanya sending out an email detailing the meetings like Mary Hoy?

All this makes me think of the good old days....when Mayor York was in charge. Didn't always agree with him, but you knew where he stood and I never saw a personal agrenda with him. Now we have the current regime all thanks to Pat Medill and her minions. Do you think we could get Mayor York to return? God help WL!

Sometime ago our Weatherby Lake Living came under fire for tunnel vision representation of our community. I would like to say how interesting the publication has been the last 2-3 months. There are many remarkable people in our community outside of city officials and city activities.

berisupI totally agree Nov 3 at 8:03 am. Our lake officials need to be prayed for and need to pray themselves. I was asked the other day by a resident "how much longer does this board and mayor have?" I said to long since they have their own agenda. GOD please help Weatherby Lake and our Country

I must say I have be amused by an earlier post about one of the lakes most prolific writers on rainbows and butterflies and love thy neighbor

Say well is good but do well is better

If really cant take any of the happy horses manure seriously when you were really a staunch supporter of some of our most prolific backstabbers

Assuming the previous post is referring to Pat Medill, you are absolutely right, there is a double standard.
