Today is first day for filing for office @ WL, Mayor, one Alderman each ward and Judge. My spycam on City Hall indicates a few individuals in sleeping bags, ostensibly, for the opportunity for the first to file. And it is so cold! We'll keep an eye out and let you know.
One person who will not be in line @ Platte County will be current presiding commissioner Betty Knight. The Landmark has been reporting she will not run and an article in today's KC Star confirms. Good thing forPlatte County in my estimation, time for a change and new blood in a somewhat moribund commission, in my opinion...we'll see.

Did the "Fire Betty Knight " boards work and could they work for us too?
We can make our signs say ,
KCMO Dont dump your sewage on me
or
KCMO this crap stinks keep it to yourself and dont dump it in our Lake
or
"After the turd time its not an accident"
We could write the Mayors reponse on boards
"KCMO we are nice and want to get along with you .Please return our calls "
or
"KCMO you are #1 but we try hard at being nice Please dont worry about your #2.
or
" KCMO you dont give a #2 about the #2 you have been dumping in our lake"
