If you've crossed the dam the past week you will see the preparations being made for the dredging of WL. I didn't attend the recent
WLIC Board Meeting, I did receive approved minutes from the
January meeting which generally outline what is coming:
- A letter will be sent by WLIC to members informing them of the dredge operations (date unknown).
- Members will have the opportunity to contract with the dredging company if dredging operations do not include in front of their property.
- Discharge will be placed on the Amity/Barry property (bean field) and below the dam.
- Although discussion of specific coves was conducted, it was not noted in the minutes.
The minutes did not disclose the date when the dredging will begin...the contract had not been agreed or signed at the time of the January meeting. Obviously that has been concluded by the fact the dredging materials are being put in place. Further questions?
