In a Funk

Well, maybe out of one.  Today's KCMO primary narrows the field to two, my guess leaving Mark the Funkster as odd man out...literally.  Although he professed to want to be a "good neighbor", he never quite came up with the goods when it came to WL.  He did a nice job of saying all the right things when the Barry Road Bridge was closed, drug his feet and continued to do so after the road was reopened (he said he would look into the goofy speed zone at the bridge and as you can so nothing has happened).  Add in a sewer spill into the lake (no sorry necessary) and you have a decent summary of his attitude towards his neighbor to the west, Weatherby Lake...nada...nothing.

Mike Burke has all the momentum and he is a so-called Northlander...will it make a difference?  We shall see.  Predictions are Sly James and Burke will sprint to the finish in April with Burke the winner by a nose...any takers?
