Reporter Glenn Rice observes "Widening of North Amity is under way".  No kidding.  According to Sean Demory of KCMO CIMO, the full completion of the Barry Road improvement project will be completed in "mid-2012".  We can hardly wait, right?  He observed, "The design on the projects began in 2004 and construction began in 2009".

Slow News Day? Mike do you have some sort of gag order on you also? Thought the Jennifer Payne thing had some umpf to it last night. According to KCMO Morning Show, Jennifer Payne's attorney is asking for a change in venue as Weatherby Lake has every intention of throwing the book at her. According to the WL prosecuting attorney, they are mad she went to the media. So now she has been silenced - by whom? – it’s not apparent. Also, there is a possible protest (2,000 people?) on Monday. People are going to show up and see if they can get arrested for trespassing.

Phew, just had the gag removed...actually I could not get to the court session last night and posted today's before I had a chance to speak to anyone about it. Manana.

Let's see, 2,000 x $500, wow, that is a chunk of change.
