At The Scene

Monument(s) Update
The forms were being constructed yesterday @ Forest with Alderman Vic close at hand, observing and coaching on placement.  You can see the site for Hillside as well, protected by the orange netting.

Big speed trap at Barry and Mace! Three cops, one standing and holding radar gun, two on motor cycles pulling people over. Shooting radar in both directions and purposely pulling vehicles further in road so you don't suspect a thing.

I am so tired of people riding my car bumper when I am going 25-30 mph in Barry 's construction zone. So if the police are out there . . . FINALLY!

So you're the slow poke whose been holding everybody up! Get the lead out!

Why not just eliminate speed limits in work zones. Who cares about the safety of the work crews or, for that matter, anyone out on that section of Barry Road. Glad to see the police out again today. Hopefully they'll catch idiots like 7:09.

9:59 says...I have no problem with police enforcing the law. I agree, I'm tired of my bumper being ridden. BUT, long-term it's a much more affective (yes, with an "a") approach to make your presence known so that people understand they are being and will be monitored in an area, vs. occasional speed trap.
