Da Squeaky Wheel

LITTLETON, CO - MAY 21: Road construction fla...Image by Getty Images via @daylife
Sometimes, it does get the grease.  Been Cc'd on some back and forth between KCMO & some Weatherbeans regarding the connection, or lack of it, between the Old Barry and New Barry road at Potomac.  It really was half****d.  But after two weeks, KCMO did what should have been done two weeks ago at the "opening", put a load of asphalt that made a decent transition between the two.  Would it have been done if the folks hadn't taken the time to bug KCMO?  My guess is no.

Despite assertions otherwise, the 25MPH speed limit is here to stay until construction is final...whenever that will be.

Mike, drove through wildwood today - brought back 2 1/2 years of memories - but didn't see any "welcome back" signs. AND the southern option is closed now too.

Does anyone know if the 25 mile speed limit continue all the way up the hill from the bridge to almost Park Hill? I drove today and was looking for a sign that increased the limit after you passed Amity, but did not fine one.

The 45 mph sign has been on the south side between Mace and Woodscastle. Didn't go by there Monday. There has been another 45 mph for west bound on the north near the retirement home.

The transition asphalt is full of holes and won't last thru a snow event.
