Feeding the Fish...

With fish...
Email to fishing club members...

The water is on at C-point at the fish cleaning station, please if you clean fish, cut up carcasses and dispose over the deep side of the dock,, please do not toss between dock and seawall, the fish lay on the rocks and weeds and cause a bad odor for the pavilion area.(toss to deep side of dock, not near ramp area) ,also please wash cleaning table and area with hose to keep it clean for others to use.
Thank you,
Hank

Op Ed
Maybe those cleaning fish might want to take the carcasses home and dispose of the remains rather than tossing into the lake...I can't imagine having a party at the pavilion and having guests experience the distinct odor of spoiled fish guts...
Just a thought...

PS, a note to all..... in my opinion there is nothing wrong with tossing the remains off the far side of dock.... BE SURE TO CUT THE FLOATS or they will not sink, floating dead fish... Gross.

It seems the fishing club is granted wide berth to do things that would be inappropriate for the rest of us to do by WLIC. Example, try throwing a bunch of dead limbs from your lot weighted with a cinder block into the lake, fish habitat, right? Try throwing parts of that dead squirrel in your yard into the lake (I understand catfish love squirrel). Not.
