!!Food Fight

KTTV Fox 11 investigative report on Anonymous.Image via Wikipedia
I try to stay out of Comments unless I just can't resist.  The Recent Comments feature on the blog gives you a heads up on Comments...a food fight has broken out on the !!Urgent posting.  The strange thing about the Comments section, to me, is when and how the food fights start.  There are times when I post something I believe will generate a firestorm of Comments, only to be surprised by no Comments at all.  Then, like !!Urgent, things get a bit out of hand...at the hands of you the loyal blogite.  Two observations, 1) if you use the Anonymous button, your Comments are truly anon, no way for me to spy, 2) to date, although I can delete comments, I never have...and don't intend to, it is truly a free for all food fight.

As I see it Ken is the one who let it get out of hand

I would like to know if Ken and Mitch are nuts or bolts

I understood that by installing a counter, a hit on a website/blog can be track back to an IP address. Obviously one doesn't know who is writing it but the physical address can be zeroed in on. True?

I'm not a techie, so 1:54, the answer is, I don't think so...at least with the tools Blogger provides. The counter I used is a sponsored third party widget, I switched to it after a freebie failed. In the meantime Blogger recently added a "stats" tab on the dashboard. It is interesting because it provides the origin of country (why would 4 views come from Russia?)and browsers used...operating systems, overwhelmingly microsoft. You might check Blogger yourself to satisfy your curiosity. As it is, I happy not knowing who is anon.

There are some people in this community who are so frustrating . . . either because of their political agendas, egos, or gossip. At least a person can vent their resentment here and hopefully get it out of their system. And maybe, just maybe, the light bulb will go off and someone will recognize themselves and the wrong they are inflicting.

"There are some people in this community who are so frustrating "

I agree and one notable one is gone

How boring without him and Dubya to complain about but we can still pick on his party

Many learned the politics of destruction there attack those in power lie and obstruct all progress

Have lived in this community for many, many years. Possibly longer than anyone posting comments on this blog. There have been mayors, WLIC presidents, community leaders who eventually step down from their positions, never to be heard again. More than once I have heard some of these individuals commenting on how they were ostracized by neighbors and friends because of the actions and decisions made while in “power”. Food for thought.

Ostracized is not so bad

More concerning is having several of our own Ken Starr’s

The end justifies the means people

We bomb the Taliban as they want to take back their country

What should we do to the Tea Party?
