7 SeptemberWords of financial guru Mayor Bos referring to the Water Fund. Although the City has passed up the opportunity to increase water rates raised by KCMO the last two years running, looks more and more like a rate increase is imminent...with another rate from KCMO in the offing in May of 2011. The nest egg built up prior to Bos' election has eroded between the lack of increases and needed projects...with more needs for the Water Department on the way. Comments from the Aldermen? None.

I think the Board is in a fog, following blindly on financial issues, I think they are just plain lazy or ignorant or both.
