Everything needed it, and the long awaited rain arrived.  The lake came up a bit, but most of the precip soaked in rather than make its way to the lake.  Farmer John's rain gauge sez 1.24 inches.

The Missouri Department of Transportation is nearing completion of safety improvements and widening along Route 45 between Routes 9 and K in Parkville. Crews are moving into the final phase of the project, requiring a traffic pattern change and reopening the intersection at Blair Road on November 12.
