A Doozy of a Race

Hot off the press...
Kathy Dusenbery, our Platte County Commissioner is running for re-election.  Yesterday, on the last day for filing, she got some competition.  Bev Roper, current Municipal Judge for Weatherby Lake, filed for the spot on the Commission.  Whoa, could be interesting.  Issues?  Quite a few, including the looming demise of the county road sales tax.  Stay tuned.

There are many qualities that make a great leader. But having strong beliefs, being able to stick with them through popular and unpopular times, is the most important characteristic of a great leader.
