Zebra mussels have been confirmed at Smithville Lake. Difficult if not impossible to stop, we will get a chance first hand to see what happens there. Venita ramp has been quite active with boats going in and out, makes one wonder if proper precautions are being observed by boaters who use their boats on other area lakes.

All you need to do is observe safe boating and no wake zone behavior and you have your answer
