Blue Boy

The Blue Boy by Thomas Gainsborough, c. 1770. ...Image via Wikipedia
Must be the transition shock of moving to the new "big blue" trash receptacle...folks seem to be having a problem figuring out what to do with it after trash day.  Just along Hillside we counted 13 that were either at roadside, close to roadside or in plain view.  Is it just me?  I'm not terribly interested in seeing them throughout the week, the bright blue summons the eye to "look at me!"  Maybe we need to get some in camouflage?

Look for another ordinance saying cans need to be kept indoors.

First two letters from Allied Waste were an attempt to be charming. 3rd letter sounds like a bully. Paraphrase: "WL resident you do this wrong . . . . and this is what we’re (Allied Waste) going to do about it . . ."

Anyone checking into other trash services? If Parkville has four trash services, would it be a problem for one to pop up to Weatherby Lake when they’re out and about picking up in Parkville?
