City Man Wins Lawsuit Against KCMO

Kansas City man that is.  KC Star, Saturday, July 16, page A4.
A KCMO property owner was awarded $150,000 in damages because KCMO erred in tearing down a building.  "It was just a big screwup" one of the jurors told the Star.  An attorney for the plaintiff said the case involved a serious breakdown in communication between city officials.

How big of a screwup will it take to before KCMO is taken to task for the numerous problems at the lift stations?

Mike, is this post your answer to
the question:

"Are you saying we have nothing to lose by going after KC?"

I say we should have taken legal action long ago

Need Mike to tell you "we have nothing to lose" ?

Of course we do .

But doing nothing is what losers do

I don't disagree or agree with legal action. Weighing the odds and doing nothing does not make anyone a loser. Question is, has City of Weatherby Lake or WLIC ever "weighed the odds"? If not, then yes, we have losers on our council.
